110. A simple fold, a thousand words | Giang Dinh |

A zen painting directly captures the soul of the subject in a few brush strokes. A haiku tells a story with a few words. Can simple sheets of paper tell a story or depict a complex idea? Can some simple folds be worth a thousand words? Origami artist Giang Dinh shares his geographic and artistic journey to finding essence.

Giang is a designer of simple and elegant origami art. He studied architecture in Vietnam and the United States, and found origami in 1998 as a way to create simplistic and striking pieces.

Giang was born in Hue, Vietnam and currently resides in Virginia.
